Renee Montoya Week

It is true, Gentle Reader, that it is Renee Montoya Week over at the fantastic site Who Is The Question? As Constant Readers are now well aware, Renee is a character with whom I am Greatly Enamored. Please enjoy the wonder of this strong hero all week long, and thanks to Eric for making it happen!

The desire to learn more about Montoya's story was what convinced me, late to the station, to quickly pack a few things and jump onboard the 52 Express. It was certainly worthwhile, to say the least.

Wonder if the Question will make an appearance in the forthcoming Batwoman mini? I'm sure you've heard by now that the first issue is coming along nicely (at least according to Todd Klein's blog), with story by Rucka and art by J.H. Williams III. Can't wait!!

I fell in love with Renee's character during the No Man's Land event, and I think her storyline in 52 was the absolute strongest and most interesting. As for purchasing 52, it was a birthday present for Mr. Reads, $3 every week to buy the 52 :)

I had not, actually! I am so Woefully Behind on my comics that I am Woefully Behind on my comics reading. Also, the recent hiatus of WFA has restricted some of my comics news. Do you have a link?

I'm so far behind on my pull list reading, I think I'm ahead; but I'm good at keeping secrets from myself. (Survival trait.)

Here's the link to the .

Glad to deliver that bit of good news; and though terribly belated, here's a big congratulations on your successful defense, Dr. Reads!

Hi TS,
Thanks for the link! The art is *gorgeous*. I adore the fact that they are drawing her as dark and as occasionally creepy as My Beloved Batman. V. much looking forward to this.
And thank you for the congratulations! It does not feel real yet. I am waiting to finish the Final Corrections for the thesis office and then, perhaps, it will feel done!
Ciao,
